We're all off to the Father Christmas Symposium in Demre, Turkey. Should be back in time for that little event at the end of the year - the Millennium. The Millennium Experience is the official site for the Millennium Dome with lots of animated bits and a rather yellow hue, but it does have a funky 3D view to play with if you have the right plug-in and a hefty enough machine. The British Airways London Eye (that big Ferris wheel by the River Thames) is due to open in time for the Millennium too. £7.45 for adults, £4.95 for kids, gives you some of the best views of London around. But it's not just all happening in London, the folks at 2000 Ireland are committed to marking the Millennium in Ireland in a way that will be celebratory, visionary, lasting, and dignified.
