1. Create an album. From the front page of Yahoo!
Photos, simply click the "Create a New Album" link in the left-hand
column.
2. Adding a photo. Add a photo to an album by uploading a picture
from your computer or linking to one that is already on the Web.
3. Sharing photos. You are able to share files with people on Yahoo! Photos, however you should think about who you want to share files with. You can share photos with people in two ways: give them access to your Photo folders, or simply email them the links to the photos.
"Sharing" is associated with the contents of a folder. While creating a folder you determine who to share it with. It is possible to create public and private folders or alternatively you give access to only specific people.
4. Emailing photos. Rather than actually email
a specific photo as an attachment, you can send somebody an email that
automatically includes links to your pictures.
5. Resizing photos. Resizing photos is a great
way to conserve disk space as you add new photos. You can resize your
photo on the "Add Photo" page when you select "Single Upload."
At the bottom select a size, (large, medium, or small), then click on
"Preview." You can also select "Don't Resize" and
your photo's original dimensions will be preserved.
6. Send a photo as a Yahoo! Greeting. You can
send any photo from Yahoo! Photos to a friend as a Yahoo! Greeting. Select
any specific picture and then click the "Send as Greeting" link
above the picture. From there, fill out the form on the following Yahoo!
Greetings page.
