LONDON, September 13th 1999 - Yahoo! Europe today announced that Martina King has been appointed Managing Director for Yahoo! UK & Ireland. With 53% reach and over 5.7 million users, Yahoo! UK & Ireland is the UK's leading internet guide. Martina will lead the local team in maintaining and reinforcing Yahoo!'s success through innovative product and brand development in line with customer needs, plus the development of strong relationships with UK advertisers, content and e-commerce providers.

Martina joined Yahoo! from TSMS Group Ltd where she was Managing Director. The UK's leading television sales company, TSMS represents a third of the ITV network and is part of United News and Media. Prior to that she was Managing Director at Capital Radio, responsible for all aspects of Capital Radio's London stations, and Marketing for the group.
