LONDON, - July 6, 1998 - Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO), the world's leading Internet media company, has announced that Shelaine Green has been appointed Marketing Director, Europe, and Lindsay Cliff has joined Yahoo! as Legal Director, Europe.

Both Shelaine's and Lindsay's knowledge and understanding of their fields will positively drive the further development of our European business."

Shelaine Green joined Yahoo! on 15 June 1998 from Orange, where as Segment Marketing Manager she championed the creation of a team of Segment Managers, each focused on developing and implementing marketing plans for a key target customer group. Shelaine was also instrumental in the development and promotion of Talkshare, Orange's most successful innovation since launch.

Prior to Orange, Shelaine developed pan-European promotions at Duracell and relaunched the children's club for Abbey National. She started her career in marketing as a graduate trainee for Kimberly Clark in 1986 and completed an MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau in 1994.

Lindsay Cliff joined Yahoo! on 15 June from BMG Australia Limited where she spent four years as Legal and Business Affairs Manager for the local record and publishing representative of BMG Entertainment, the media and entertainment division of Bertelsmann AG.

A qualified solicitor in both the UK and Australia, Lindsay previously worked as a lawyer specialising in the areas of intellectual property and entertainment law at The Simkin's Partnership in London and Gilbert & Tobin in Sydney.
