First ABC //electronic Certification of Advertisers Statistics
Yahoo! UK and Ireland have been issued with their first ABC //electronic certificate to include advertiser specific data.


London--19 May 1998--The certificate verifies individual advertisers statistics which deliver data on the activity of a particular site for a specific campaign. Accurate information on user activity allows the campaign message to be measured and provides independent accountability.

ABC //electronic recorded over 34 million page impressions for the Yahoo! UK and Ireland site, www.yahoo.co.uk during the period 1-31 March 1998. The audit reported 34,579,546 page impressions.

Richard Foan, ABC //electronic said, "We have worked very closely with ABC in the States to complete this audit for Yahoo! UK and Ireland. The inclusion of advertising campaign specific data in this audit is a major step forward for the industry and responds to our customers and their advertisers needs."
