The Yahoo! Italy guide contains more than 7,000 Italian Web sites selected by the Italian team of surfers. For an easy and quick search, the database is organised into 14 categories and more than 300 sub-categories.

Yahoo! Italy also offers general and specialised information services with original content supplied by authoritative sources: Yahoo! Notizie, in co-operation with Ansa, Reuters and La Gazzetta dello Sport OnLine, provides the latest stories on Italian politics and news, business, foreign affairs and sports; Yahoo! Finanza, integrates financial information from Il Sole 24 Online and stock quotes from the Milan Stock Exchange and the most important international stock exchanges, published by Cedborsa and Standard & Poor's; Yahoo! Meteo, constantly updated by WNI, contains weather information for more than 30 Italian and 500 international cities; Cerca Persone allows users to look up email addresses.

As is the case with all Yahoo! services globally, all the Italian services are free.

The Yahoo! Italy service links directly into the original Yahoo! site (www.yahoo.com) and into the global branded network of Yahoo! properties which currently include USA, UK & Ireland, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Canada, Japan, Korea, Asia, Australia & New Zealand.
