| Yahoo! recruits Business Development Manager for UK & Ireland |

LONDON 12 February 1999 - Yahoo! UK & Ireland, ranked the most popular Web guide in the UK, today announced the appointment of Ralph Averbuch, formerly Senior Producer, to the new post of UK & Ireland Business Development Manager. Ralph Averbuch was the first Yahoo! employee in the UK and played a role in the launch of the original service which took place in September 1996. Now he moves from responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and development of site services to concentrate on the business development area. Ralph will be developing e-commerce, distribution and content relationships with media and retail organisations across the British Isles. Commenting on the move he said: "Yahoo! has a great story to tell potential e-commerce and distribution partners. I want to take that story to the industry and seek relationships which offer value to everyone".
