To raise money for the UK’s Multiple Sclerosis Society, Yahoo! UK & Ireland will be auctioning jeans and apparel from a host of celebrities including Caprice, Ronnie Wood, Sophie Anderton, Jamie Theakston, Melanie Sykes, Tim Vincent, Davina McCall, Coronation Street and Emmerdale cast members, and many more. Bids can be placed at http://auctions.yahoo.co.uk. The UK auction goes live on Tuesday 29th August and runs until Friday 8th September. The proceeds for the UK-based auction will be donated to the MS Society of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The MS Society is the UK’s major funder of research into a disease which strikes 50 people in the UK every week – usually around the prime of life when career and family responsibilities are at their most demanding. Three women are diagnosed to every two men. As yet, there is no cure for this unpredictable and devastating disease.

Stars donated and signed their jeans for "Undress for MS – Celebrity Jean Auction" to raise awareness of and funds for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Southern California Chapter.

All proceeds from the globally-accessible auction will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Southern California Chapter. All monies raised from the auction will be dedicated to ending the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis (MS) and to promoting and providing critically-needed programs and services to individuals living with MS.
