Picks of the Week: May 3rd 1999

We've had fun discovering those sites that make Yahoo! UK & Ireland one of the best places to find UK or Irish sites, so we thought we'd share a few with you. If you have any suggestions, please send us a note about them. Also send any general thoughts or comments about Picks of the Week or even suggest sites you'd like us to consider for the next issue. Welcome to the Cafe Yahoo! Here's what's on the menu this week:

Channel 5

A beautifully presented and colourful starter. Served with a touch of sauce (Melinda Messinger), Channel 5 will appeal to those looking for a tasty snack. Best served with a dash of Shockwave, it comes with a wholesome side-order of teenage frills and downloads for your consumption later.

T2Online

The T2Online happy meal will delight and enchant even the most jaded of our younger diners. Enhanced on a weekly basis with plenty of wholesome ingredients including news, reviews and articles, we're sure you'll find T2Online a welcome addition to our menu.

Stone Dead Productions - Monty Python

Australian Python may seem an unusually exotic choice, but this hearty dish is guaranteed to fill you up, and make you chuckle along the way. Full of fun, with an exhaustive selection of sketches, audio and resources, this should satisfy even the most mammoth of Pythonesque appetites.

Dallas or Dynasty

For those who prefer a little more American flavour to their food, either of these dishes will no doubt appeal. Our Dallas meal, served with a huge pitcher of Ewing Oil, comes with pictures, sounds and (n)oodles of information. In contrast, the Dynasty platter combines a delicious fusion of Colbys and Carringtons with somewhat 'cheesy' overtones.

Uselessknowledge.com

A real mish-mash of flavours and textures with new ingredients added on a daily basis, this is a fascinatingly diverse dish full of trivia and useless facts which are, nonetheless, incredibly tasty. A highly entertaining snack that is well worth dipping into.

North American Latrinalia

Our final dish of the week is perhaps only for the more adventurous diner, as many may consider it a touch unpalatable. This unusual collection of grafitti from US toilet walls is a demanding, if slightly disturbing, dish that nonetheless appeals due to its rather unique taste.
