This is a terrific resource for anyone contemplating building a new home or extending an existing house. Their aim is to guide you through the building maze whether you are intending to build from scratch, or improve your existing home. Their 'new build' section is a complete step-by-step guide from selecting the ideal site with planning permission, to employing the builders. It gives tips and advice on different approaches to building extensions. Check out the dream home diary that is presented as a set of weekly updates of a building project in rural Ireland. For the environmentally conscious there is also a featured article on building an eco-friendly home.

Whether you like 'em single or blended, this no-nonsense site will tell you all you want to know about Irish whiskey and more. For example, according to the background and history section, some Scottish distillers shipped their whiskey to Dublin so it could be exported as 'Irish whiskey' for Victorian society. Enjoy the reviews for the whiskey of the month which, "Does a riverdance on the tonsils for ages and ages and ages." Read all about Irish malts, blends, pot-stilled and single grain whiskies. This is a wonderful guide to understanding and learning more about the red fox. It provides lots of information for anyone who would like to observe this elusive creature in its natural habitat. This is a professional online news journal serving the Irish medical community. It features articles on topical medical issues, clinical and pharmaceutical news, and Irish healthcare. It also invites letters and professional viewpoints, which makes for an excellent discussion forum. It lists appointments and long and short term locums. While this site is aimed at the medical profession this information will also be of interest to the general public. So if you're feeling under the weather, surf this way!
