Gardening sites two weeks in a row? We must be getting old here at Picks Central. Before you know it, we'll be wearing slippers and smoking pipes. What's that? We do already? Ah, okay. Anyway, this site is an online gardening community presented by Alan Titchmarsh and Charlie Dimmock, who really want you to register with the site so you get access to all the features it has to offer. We cheekily entered as guests though, but still found a wealth of information on everything from how to put in a potted pond to how best to look after your geraniums. Ah... now this made us feel more like kids again. Before you know it, the Picks Team were chucking them around the office, until that sabretooth hit the boss's desk, and we all got a severe talking to. Still, we blame Alex's site. After all, his diagrams and folding instructions for paper airplanes are so clear and easy to follow, we couldn't resist having a go. People have even written in with their queries, and Alex dishes out the advice to help them with their paper plane woes. Question is, can he get us our jobs back? We love our chocolate, and this site is chock-full of milky Cadbury's goodness. Aimed at kids, it complements the many other colourful sites that Britain's favourite chocolate maker have already offered us in the past. There's a bunch of little Shockwave games to play, a monthly competition where you can win a goodie bag, there's even a chocolate recipe of the month - Harriet Hedgehog anyone? All through the summer, the Cadbury Land trucks will be visiting family events throughout the country raising money for charity, so watch out for them. Strange one this, very strange. Ever imagined how worthwhile and fun life could be if your toilet seat was a little bit more funky? Well, stop dreaming, and check out this site. They offer a wide range of colourful loo seat designs including fun ones, natural looking ones, designer ones, and more. We particularly favoured the Gothic Loo, its dark brooding features reminding us of the days when we used to dress in black and look miserable. The Corporate Loo section is perhaps the most intriguing - the company will design customisable, corporate-branded loos should you so desire... It's a tough one to describe, we're not quite sure what this is all about, but we like it nonetheless - it intrigues us - and that's always a good thing. Essentially it's a showcase for a London-based company called hi, Res! There's a lot of funky design and 'web art' here, things move, things flash, it's all rather jolly. The exhibition of anti-banners is pretty cool though - they look far more inspiring than most of the ones you see these days, and the site's content will change two or three times a year, so keep your eye on it.
