- This competition is run by Yahoo! UK Limited, 10 Ebury Bridge Road, London SW1W 8PZ ("Yahoo!"). By entering the competition, entrants (referred to as "entrants" or "you") agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
- Entrants must be 18 or over and residents of the UK or Republic of Ireland. Employees of Yahoo! are not eligible to enter. Entrants will be deemed be the natural person to whom the email address (used to enter the competition) is registered or to whom the address has been assigned by the entity registered in relation to the address. No purchase is necessary in order to enter into the competition.
- To be eligible, you must submit (and Yahoo! must receive) a photograph of yourself performing your kissing technique together with a (maximum) 30 character caption 'handle' and your email address before the closing date of 2359hours BST on December 31 2001. Yahoo! is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind.
- An independent judge will pick the winner on the following criteria: pout, lip posture, effort, complexity and facial dexterity.
- The winner will be notified by email within 3 days of the end of the competition. Winners must confirm receipt of the prize notification and provide all details requested by the promoter by no later than January 31, 2002, failing which Yahoo! reserves the right to withdraw the prize. By accepting the prize, winners agree that their name and likeness can be used by the promoter for advertising and promotional purposes.
- The winner will win a car as supplied by Yahoo!. Any representations of the car in advertisements and other promotions of this competition do not necessarily reflect the true likeness of the car. There will be no cash alternative. The winner is responsible for collecting the car from a location designated by Yahoo! and the car can only be collected after January 1, 2002. The winner will be notified as soon as possible after the competition by way of an email to the email address provided by the winner.
- The winner must confirm receipt of the prize notification and provide all details requested by Yahoo! immediately, failing which Yahoo! reserves the right to select an alternative winner. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time by Yahoo!, the prize will revert to Yahoo!.
- By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that his/her name and likeness can be used by Yahoo! for advertising and promotional purposes. By entering this competition, the contestants agree that Yahoo! may use any and all information relating to the competition for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. Personal information of contestants will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Yahoo!'s and the judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- These terms and conditions and the competition are governed by the laws of England. Yahoo! reserves the right to terminate these terms and conditions and the competition if it becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
