London, UK 11th November 2004 - Yahoo! Europe and Sony Europe today announced a distribution agreement that aims to make Yahoo! the internet destination of choice for all new users of Sony VAIO notebooks & desktops.

Sony will pre-install onto the desktop, start menu and favourites listings of all Sony VAIO notebooks & desktops, the Y! Home Page, Yahoo! Messenger and Yahoo! Personals icons. In addition, the Yahoo! toolbar will be promoted through the Sony VAIO websites.

The deal will include the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, with pre-installed notebooks & desktops shipping immediately. The agreement reflects Yahoo!'s commitment to extending usage of the Yahoo! network and is expected to introduce Yahoo!'s market leading products and services to millions of Sony VAIO users.
