19th August 2002, London - In a continued demonstration of Yahoo!'s commitment to the media model, Nick Fawbert joins Yahoo! UK & Ireland as Sales Manager, on 27th August 2002. Working closely with Sales Director, Alison Reay, Nick will be number two and responsible for helping to develop and build Yahoo!'s relationships with planning and buying agencies.

Nick joins from Viacom Outdoor where he worked with Alison to successfully develop and launch the sales and marketing effort for XTP, which generated 10 partnerships with companies including Virgin, BT and Vodafone. His other previous career experience is based within traditional media at the Telegraph, BBC Top Gear Magazine, Maxim and Stuff .
