London, 27th February, 2002. Yahoo! Europe, a leading European Internet communications, commerce and media company, today announced that it has appointed Yonca Dervižošlu as Marketing Manager for Yahoo! Europe.

Yonca has spent almost ten years in various marketing roles within Unilever HPCE and Uniliver Turkey, most recently as European Innovations Manager responsible for devising the strategy of and managing a portfolio of innovations projects for the European Clothes Care Business of Unilever HPCE. Previously, Yonca was Brand Manager for both the leading Lever detergent brand, OMO, and Lipton Tea in Turkey. During her tenure at Unilver HPCE Yonca won `Innovator of the Year' in 2000 for a new product launch project.

Yonca will be responsible for co-ordinating and developing all aspects of consumer and trade marketing across Europe, working closely with each of the local country marketing teams. She joins Yahoo! Europe on 4th March, 2002 and will report to Yahoo! Europe's Sales and Marketing Director, Fru Hazlitt.
